GPT-6 Astra
GPT-6 Astra is OpenAI’s frontier GPT-6 model for difficult end-to-end work, combining reasoning, coding, computer use, research, and document creation. It accepts text and images and supports effort levels from low through max. Tool calls require the Responses API; Chat Completions serves text generation without tools. It includes support for extended workflows and mid-turn steering through the API.
