Flan-T5
Flan-T5 is the instruction-tuned T5 family released with research on scaling instruction fine-tuning. It mixes a large collection of prompted NLP tasks and chain-of-thought examples to improve zero-shot and few-shot generalization. Checkpoints from Small to XXL preserve the encoder-decoder design and support text-to-text tasks. It is a significant instruction-specialized family, separate from the original T5 pretraining release.
